Cherie inherited a flair for interior design from her creative Mom and an eye for detail and project management from her engineer Dad. Experience has come from years of hard work and constantly educating herself as things in the industry change. Growing up she took art classes in elementary school, was constantly rearranging her room as a teenager, and took up sewing as a young adult. Having discovered her true passion for textiles through sewing, she opened a custom workroom back in early 2000’s making window treatments for friends, then for clients and eventually turning that business into Cherie Gilbert Design, a full-service interior design studio. Going back to her roots she opened Adorned Window Décor in 2021. With her background as an interior designer and years of experience as a custom workroom, She can help you curate the correct treatments specifically for your windows.
